Part 2 of my Trackbike build. I've added some refurbished wheels, some clocks and some refurbished brakes as well. Brand new brake hoses along with new chain and sprockets.

First few start-ups of my track bike project. This is a 1992 CBR 600 bought as a pile of parts that is being restored into a track day bike.

I have the same exact bike that needs a complete restoration. I basically have a rolling frame and engine minus the carb, intake boot, radiator, gas tank, and seat. Any idea where to locate parts, new or used..??? Thanks..

The Yamaha brand was innovative, and usually had a good overall package. I owned the 1983 RM 125, so much fun !
Looks great. Yamaha sold a tonne of those. The Suzuki RM125 was the best that year with water cooled, fullfloater suspension. However I won many races on bone stock Yz125 like yours. 👍

The b&w yz colour scheme was what they should have stuck to in my opinion. They looked great. Interesting where they placed the radiator, less vulnerable to being broken when dropped, unlike my 82 Elsinore, I hated how they stuck out so much and were fragile as sh&$.

This is the 2nd UK YZ125 I've seen with the same headlight shroud that's been beaten with the ugly stick. Down here in Oz the IT's are registerable & YZ's not. Is it different in the UK? Nice resto though 👍
Headlight? That's the air intake to the cooler mate.

Sounds kind of the shame. The whining sound from the engine is overwhelming and disappointing.
Sounds different when high cruising- speed 150-180km/h. Gear down.. I promise.....

The steering head grease would heat up and run out from havin the radiator up top on the clamps
I believe you I just bought on as a barn find and the steering is frozen solid

European version in white I assume? I had the yellow American H model. This front fender is off of an '82 model. Sounds good though.
Australian version was white, I had one also, 'Down under'.
no issues has about 5mm clearance
Any issues with your right pannier? Is the clearance an issue with the GPR on?

front and rear mud guards are new . tank is vinyl wrapped.
